WHAT IS Your POWER WORD?
The breakout project, Profile Noire, went on solo museum exhibit in 2019. This iconic project features 100 women of color sitting in their seat of power. Due to an overwhelming response, I am honored to continue to offer Profile Noire as a session to my clients. Join me in the evolution of this important body of work designed to change the visual representation of women of color and to challenge participants to look deep within themselves.
EVERY ANGLE LOOKS GOOD ON YOU
A project boasting over 300 images of women of color, you can join the movement. I have formulated this photography session to be one that can only be found here. All the way from the detail of the experience, the detail of the posing, and the detail of the post production artistry. These works of art will be a beautiful addition to your collection and act as a source of strength you can draw from on the daily walk of honoring who you are.

We will take time to go through your specific questions during our initial consultation. In the meantime, I've created a list of questions I get the most.
Fine art photography is a genre of photography that focuses on creating aesthetically pleasing and visually impactful images. It often involves incorporating creative and conceptual elements into the photographs.
Take time to prepare your mind space for a truly beautiful creative experience. You will want to make sure that you ask me any question that you may have prior to our session to alleviate any pre-session jitters you may feel. Book your hair and nail appointments. Set aside your wardrobe and accessories one day in advance. Review any emails that will be sent out leading up to your session.
Makeup is included in all of my sessions. Professional hairstyling is not. Please come with your hair at a good starting point and based on the creative design of your session, I will make adjustments as needed.
The duration of a fine art photography session can vary based on various factors, such as the complexity of the concept, outfit changes, and the overall scope of the project. Typically, a session can last anywhere between 1 to 3 hours.
I ask that only those participating in the session be in attendance in the studio. This time is dedicated and curated just for you and sometimes having other people around can interfere with the creative flow and your overall comfort level. If you require someone to join you, just make sure the individual understands their role and won't interfere with the our workflow.
After the session, I will review, edit and retouch the photographs to select the images that meet my artistic vision and style. You can let me know if you'd like any specific editing needs or if you have any additional requests.
The post-processing timeline varies but I will typically schedule your Ordering Session to present final images 10-14 days after our session.
