COME TAKE A JOURNEY WITH ME
LIFTING THE VEIL
Stepping into the world of photography in 2007 was truly the start of my own self-discovery as an adult. This craft has has challenged me to move in authenticity by requiring me to discover my niche, my place within the photography world that keeps me true to myself.
Photography has nurtured my personal growth as a human and a creator by never allowing me to stay within my comfort zone, but always pushing me to explore the creative ideas in my head and ultimately birth them into existence.

There is healing in the art of portraiture. The healing begins the moment you decide to turn yourself into artwork. It is an honor for me to be your guide along the healing process. Having gone through the sometimes difficult work of believing in my own beauty, I am able to pick up on the nuances of the insecurities that women hold onto. This allows me to connect and assist you with moving through those feelings in order to create an image that allows those insecurities to melt away.
WHERE THE BLACK WOMAN IS CENTERED & CELEBRATED
UNAPOLOGETICALLY
I photograph people from all walks of life and from all around the world. However, it is my intention to change the visual representation of Black women and therefore they are centered in my work.
Black women are the foundation of existence and are entitled to spaces that honor them. Rhonisha Dione Fine Art Photography is one of those spaces.
